Being consistent is key! Not perfection. Consistency says you will do it over and over and over again. Doesn’t matter how good or bad, but just do it. On time or late…just do it. Morning or midnight, you just have to do it.

Hear me and hear me good. I’m far from being perfect and I’m far from doing all the right things. I just do THE things over and over again. Failure…who cares. I still do it.

You are reading this blog now but folks don’t read my blogs all the time. I don’t have a big blog following like thousands of people, but I still write. If you keep doing something over and over again, it will eventually pay off.

My blog anniversary is coming up on the first of June. It’ll be 2 years for me and there are still weeks I don’t have the best content, in my opinion. Weeks when I don’t really have ideas or concepts to write about. I still write.

There are LOTS of times when I don’t have TIME! Like today. I’m sitting backstage of my daughters dance recital as I type. But I’m determined to not let the day go by without blogging.

I’ll be honest. One thing I WISH I was consistent on is following my diet plan. Man listen! I start over on my diet every Monday morning, sometimes on Wednesday and Friday.

I’m the worse and I haven’t lost a pound yet! And guess what! It’s Saturday and I’m starting over again on this Monday coming up! Lawd I so suck at this but I’m not giving up.

And that’s what it is about. Fighting through the periods of limited ideas. Push through the times when people aren’t watching or paying attention. Doesn’t matter how many people “like” what your are doing. It’s your dream, not theirs.

Don’t give up! I don’t know about you but working my dream is MY dream come true. It’s not about the fame or money. It’s about doing what you love over and over again.

That’s what consistency is. Don’t focus on the results. Just do it.
