Racism doesn’t exist. As they say, stop using the race card. It doesn’t exist. We are making it up. So stop it!Bottom line, it’s not racism, there is just a list of things that black people cant get away with.

Let’s be real about it. The protest in Michigan is a prime example. What would happen if all of those faces were black?

You have your answer on how this would’ve played out? Another question, what would our leadership say if he saw us making demands on the state capitol while armed? It surely wouldn’t match what he utter about these fine young men. “LIBERATE” Michigan and make a deal with these very good people,” stated our POTUS. Maybe he would’ve said to make a deal when the SOBs.

How about conducting Citizen Arrests? Are blacks allowed to do this? I understand the concept of it. If you see someone doing something wrong, you have the right to detain them until the police arrives. However, here is the part that many may not know. I looked this procedure up and it clearly says that a person can only arrest someone if they saw them actually commit the crime. Once you approach them, you must tell them why you are arresting them.

Well…if that is the case, why did this ex-police officer by the name of Gregory McMichael decide to conduct a citizen’s arrest on Ahmaud Arbery? Surely he knows the laws within his jurisdiction. Georgia’s statute says the crime must have taken place in front of the arresting citizen or that person must have immediate knowledge of the crimes taking place. Well of course Gregory claims Ahmaud fits the description of someone burglarizing the neighborhood recently. “Fit the description” does not equate to “immediate knowledge.” Amazing how no reports of burglaries were filed.

So why did it take over 2 months to arrests these two murderers? One part can be found that Gregory was given special treatment due to his affiliations. Sure say that…but what if the McMichaels were black and Ahmaud was white, what would’ve been the outcome? Immediate arrest, that’s for sure.

So, we are have 3 items on the list thus far:

• Armed blacks protesting isn’t advisable
• Blacks can’t citizen arrest whites
• Blacks can’t kill whites and get away with it

Think for a moment. Are there any other things you can think of that won’t go well with black people if they participated in? During this pandemic, we have been advised to wear cloth face coverings. Imagine a black man with a black face covering? How would he be viewed? Like a robber, that’s it. Ideally, he would wear a bright or colorful face covering, nothing that would make him look suspicious.

Here is an example. What are your thoughts? Does he look suspicious to you? If so, why? If you suggest he shouldn’t wear black, you are part of the problem. Imagine if his skin was darker, does it change your perspective? Be honest with yourself on how you will feel. One thing we can’t hide from is our thoughts and feelings as they will be honest with you.

By the way, he is my daughters’ God father. He is a poetic. Works as a federal government civilian. He has served our country. He has a wife and two beautiful young daughters of his own. He loves to read and write. Nothing about him is a criminal but when he wore this mask out to the grocery store a few weeks ago, I feared he would be targeted or profiled.

Ever notice a group of people standing around talking or congregated at some public place. When you see a group of white guys, what are your thoughts? Maybe you think they are just hanging out. Maybe you don’t see anything wrong with this. Flip the switch. If you see a group of blacks in that same parking lot, what are your initial thoughts? True feelings allowed only.

Chances are great, the police will be called because they (black group) are up to no good.

I’m not judging you. Judge yourself. We don’t have to call it racism. You may have black friends (as some may say). But depending on your thoughts to the concepts above, you may not be a racist by your definition. However, you are part of the problem we are facing by our definition.

When our thoughts/feelings overpower our best decisions, we end up with situations we are facing now…blacks getting killed. Before you scream that blacks should obey the police and stop resisting arrests…do you a quick google search on all the white arrests that went wrong yet no one was killed. The white suspect is more likely to wrestled to the ground, handcuffed, and taken to jail.

So let’s just call it like it is. There are just things that whites can do that black folks can’t do.
