Most of readers I'm friends with on Facebook. So many of you read my last blog about fighting from my man. So this can be considered a Part II. I advertised Part I in a way that brought on a lot of high fives, laughs, and great feedback. But I want to be sure I explain this next part fully.
Within another blog called "Free Psychic Helpline" I shared how we all cause the hell to break loose around us. Basically, whenever we are on the verge of a breakthrough, the enemy is on a prowl to destroy our plans immediately in order to stop us from fulfilling that goal or from reaching our destiny. Way too often he wins.
Well since starting the blog and going into that reflection period, I gained a new word in my vocabulary. The word "BOLD." Through reflection I've gained the confidence to call myself a speaker. Confidence to share my gift boldly with those I grace day by day. Confidence to share my inner most thoughts and feelings…unapologetically yet humbly.
But I'll be honest, my last blog had been in me for at least 3 weeks as I was too afraid to confess that I'm all in for my husband. Scared to confess that ain't nothing you can do enemy to turn me away from him. I wanted to boldly confess that I'm in this thing for the long haul. But my God revealed that through another scared post that "if I give it to you, do as I say. Stop listening to feelings child! Cast your fears unto Me and I'll take care of rest. I got your lite weight daughter."
I learned 3 facts:
1) God gives us all gifts/a purpose.
2) God will be with you as you carry out His purpose
3) God will equip you to fulfill His purpose
With that, I was awoken to that confidence to share what was on my heart boldly! Instead of fear, I actually got excited. But with that excitement comes the realization that I can't be foolish and think the enemy can't read. Am I afraid of the enemy? Not as much as I used to be. But not scared enough to stop my feet from moving. But what I will do to prepare for my next big step that I'm planning is to make sure I'm equipped to handle any stumbling block the enemy may put in my path.
I must go into prayer and fasting. Matthew 6:16-18 says,
“And when you fast, do not look gloomy like the hypocrites, for they disfigure their faces that their fasting may be seen by others. Truly, I say to you, they have received their reward. But when you fast, anoint your head and wash your face, that your fasting may not be seen by others but by your Father who is in secret. And your Father who sees in secret will reward you."
That means…don't call attention to your fast. Well I mentioned that because I often think of this when folks boast about fasting. This isn't to boast but to make sure you know how to truly go to battle. Going to battle without fasting and praying, it's like going to war without a gun instead you show up with rocks in one hand and sling shot in the other. It won't look good for you. I don't plan to do any formal announcements or ask for a crowd to join but I need you all to know the importance like to the point of winning or losing.
I don't know about you but I'm here to win and gain all the riches my Father has stored up for me. If it's His will, I'm going after it. I've seen it and there is no turning around now. And as I go, I'm taking many of you with me. I'm not on this journey by myself. It may look like it to you. That's because you have been selected to join me, you just don't know it yet. Soon my friend…very soon.
"However, as it is written: "What no eye has seen, what no ear has heard, and what no human mind has conceived" — the things God has prepared for those who love him–" I Corinthians 2:9
