TIMEOUT! Time out for being afraid of my goals! Time out of being afraid of what people may think of me! “She thinks she is all that. She thinks she is smart. She things she has it going on.” She says, “ROGER THAT!”
Call this ‘speaking it into the atmosphere.’ Boldly claiming all that I have envisioned for myself. To fulfill your vision, one must be bold intentionally. To be a visionary, it means to interpret the world in ways that other people don’t even know exist.
Let me show you how it’s done. Prior to now, I wouldn’t tell you anything about the deepest visions for my life. I’d be too afraid of what you’d think. Too afraid that it would make me look cocky. Afraid I’d be misunderstood. Afraid that I’d cause unnecessary jealousy. Bragging is something I refuse to do. But this isn’t bragging…this is a confession out loud into the atmosphere that I won’t be afraid of my dreams. Letting all know that I seek these things and I’m unapologetic about it. My life…my vision…I shall see these things manifest:
1) Continued JOY. Not happiness. Happiness is circumstantial. I never want to lose the joy I have.
2) Become a world motivational speaker. Now that’s something serious right there. Heart thumping just typing that one. I want to be to the point where the U.S. can’t hold me. Attended a sewing slumber party tonight held by Sew Couture (owner Baraka Truss) and we did a project for little girls in Kenya. One of the ladies over this project came to share her journey. My mind said…Kenya shall see you one day. And it shall. Just like that. Claiming it.
3) Funny I wrote this one earlier today but I want to have slumber parties for my great-great grandkids. They will love to come hang with their fass-tailed granny and goofy pawpaw. Trey and London’s spouses will love this break too.
4) Leave my kids a legacy they can be proud of. Leave them with my life’s motivational legacy as well as wealth to sustain them. Three generations over.
5) Be a multi-millionaire by age 45. Whhaaattttt! You read that right. BOLD. This one scares me the most to say out loud but there. I said it! It scares me because what if I don’t make it…but what if I do?
6) Til death do us part! Period. He is mine. I am his. I want us to enjoy watching our kids grow up and have families of their own and those grandkids have families of their own. I want to see it with him and him only!
7) A house in the Bahamas and another beach home in the U.S. Bahamas is one beautiful place to me. Celebrated Marsha Cuffee’s 30th birthday with a cruise to the Bahamas and for some reason said it back then and I’ll say it until it happens.
8) On my job, I want to achieve the highest level of leadership. Not that it has been a childhood dream or anything but because of two things. It’s possible number 1. And number 2 because I know that I have something that someone on that level needs. Each level produces another level devil. You have heard that right? So I want to help them conquer it. Leaders are paid to handle conflict yet I know many suck at their own personal conflicts. I just may have a message for them or the smile they need to see to get through whatever they may be facing.
9) I want to complete my book on marriage before this year is over, have the marriage retreat set up for next summer, and I pray it all can help so many. I want to help others fight for their marriages. God purposes us in each generation to fulfill a need. I’m starting to think, this is the need I am to assist with. If so, use me Lord. I’m done with being afraid.
10) I want my kids to grow up confident in the Lord and to never stray! To remain on the straight and narrow road. Seek His approval in their lives. To obey and respect authority. Grow into the man and woman of God, He destines them to be.
There is so much more out there for us all to experience and that is what I plan to do. If my walk can only encourage you, my job is done. So tell me! How BOLD are you? Or are you just afraid? Be honest with yourself. Can you be bold? Like really bold??? If you think you can…then be bold! Comment with your biggest vision for your life? What is the biggest thing you want to experience in your life? Go for it! Claim it here! Or claim it on social media if you are really BOLD! Tag me on Facebook or Instagram when you do. Unnn huh. Let’s see who is bold about this thing.
Thank you for your attention. You are your own competition.

Nakia, thanks as always for your inspiration. My claims of boldness area a follows:
To change the legacy of obesity related diseases within my sphere of influence beginning with myself.
To end my marriage as a widow not a divorcée.
To create true personal wealth not just for myself but for those around me.
To change the narrative of competition between African American women and to be an example of collaboration, support and true friendship.
To EXPERIENCE this life and all God has for me in its fullness outside of the limitations man attempts to put on me and mine.
To end this journey of life better than I started with acceptance from the Lord God himself.
